Rev. J. Lynn James, LMHC has been a trauma specialist, providing compassionate, comprehensive counseling services since 1991. She has extensive training and experience working with complex trauma, post traumatic stress, dissociation, physical, sexual, emotional abuse, neglect, domestic violence, rape, natural disasters, accidents, medical trauma, addictions, grief and loss, mood disorders, anxiety, compassion fatigue, and life stressors. In addition she provides peak performance coaching and counseling support for personal and spiritual growth.

She has dedicated herself to pursuing advanced trainings to ensure that her clients receive the best care possible. She is a consultant and trainer for EMDR and DNMS. In addition she is trained in Brainspotting, CBT, and the SCID-D dissociation inventory. She is a human rights advocate for GLBTQIA, racial justice, economic justice, soul freedom (separation of church from state), and other issues of diversity and social justice.
